The Hip Hop Library was created to educate, inform, and document monumental stories, current and historical events of hip hop. Recognizing, preserving, and sharing Philadelphia Hip Hop and its history.

In addition to an actual “Library with No Walls” containing books written about and by the Hip Hop industry to borrow in addition to links to purchase. Plus positive current events, latest news and accomplishments of individuals of the hip hop community, their families and friends.

The ultimate goal of The Hip Hop Library is to promote literacy among our peers and encourage the youth of our communities to READ! The libraries on locations especially youth, community and recreational centers, in addition to program facilitation assistance.

While we’re aware it may be a little early to think about it. Believe it or not, the winter season is vastly approaching, and our organization is gearing up for our final giveaways of the year.

The Hip Hop Library is excited to extend an invitation for Delaware County families to apply for assistance with holiday toys and books for their children. At our annual “Winter Celebration and Giveaway” we believe that every child deserves to experience the magic of the holidays, and we are committed to making this season a little brighter for families in our community.

We understand that the holiday season can bring both joy and challenges, especially for families facing financial difficulties. Our mission is to ensure that no child is left without a smile on their face during this special time of year. That’s why we are offering assistance to families who may need help providing gifts for their children.
